CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame®
Joel Weldon is a member of the National Speakers Association's CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame®. CPAE stands for Council of Peers Award for Excellence, an honor given by fellow professional speakers.
Now Joel teaches at the start of every Youth Edition class, beside Coach Everett, his teenage co-creator. The two share a birthday, exactly 70 years apart.
A relaxed, live session on Zoom, built for families who are still deciding.
Joel, Everett and Troy introduce themselves and show you exactly how the program works.
Students who want to can speak in a friendly, small setting. No one is put on the spot.
Ask every question you have. Then decide, with no pressure, whether it's right for your family.
After six months, students are noticeably more comfortable speaking under pressure, presenting ideas and starting conversations. Here's where that shows up.
Presentations go from something to survive to something they volunteer for. Teachers and scholarship committees notice.
So many hiring decisions happen in the interview. A young person who speaks clearly under pressure starts ahead.
People follow the person who can help them see an idea, not just the person who has it.
Saying hard things kindly, disagreeing without damage, and being understood the first time.
Knowing they can speak to a room and be heard changes what they believe they're allowed to try.
At the end of six months, your child gives their talk live at the Ultimate Speaker Showcase, in front of family and friends. Then the video from their very first night plays for the room. Your family keeps the video, and you see exactly how far they've come.

Short answers. Bring the rest to the open house.
Yes. The program is built for quiet and nervous kids as much as confident ones. Everett was the quiet kid himself. At the open house, speaking is always optional.
No. The open house is free, and there is no obligation. It exists so you can decide with confidence.
Six months, 12 live online classes held every two weeks, in groups of no more than 12 students ages 11–19. It ends with a virtual graduation at the Ultimate Speaker Showcase.
For the program, yes, so they can practice eye contact and body language. For the open house, a working camera and microphone help, but come either way.
Joel Weldon's Ultimate Speaking System, Youth Edition, is a 6-month live program for ages 11–19. We cap every group at 12 so every child speaks, gets feedback and grows. Parents are always welcome to watch, and if the first class isn't right for your child, we'll refund your payment in full.

This program taught me how to be more clear, fluent and more confident overall.Clayton Ingram, 17, aspiring NASCAR driver
“Before my son and daughter took this program, they were okay talking to people, but not at a level I'd call confident and engaging. After four classes, they were better communicators at home, at school and on their sports team!”
— Parent“My son now commands the rooms he's in, and adults are shocked at how quickly he has advanced.”
— Parent“Both of our kids' teachers told me they were very impressed by how much better they speak in front of the class this fall. When they learned both had taken a speaking program this summer, they could see it made a huge difference.”
— Parent“We really loved getting feedback on our speeches! It was very useful to hear the real truth about what was good and what needed work.”
— Past student“The best part about this program was understanding how we performed on camera, and realizing there are strategies that make people feel like they are being listened to and spoken to.”
— Past student“We appreciate how every student is treated like an adult and not a kid.”
— Past student“It's an incredible feeling to realize how far my performance has come. When I compare my first speech to my most recent one, there is so much improvement. I'm kind of embarrassed by how rough the first one was!”
